Following a fire that rendered the interior a total loss, the decision to rebuild the seaside home was rooted in the owner’s deep connection to the property. With its coastal location, beloved shade garden and koi pond, preserving the framework from the existing prefab structure created unique limitations to work within. Strategic modifications are being made to the home by relocating and expanding the stair, adding a guest room with ensuite bath, and reorganizing the layouts of the Kitchen + Dining and Primary Suite. Clean lines and a soft, natural material palette will serve as a refined yet relaxed backdrop to a new collection of bespoke furniture and art. The project is in design development.
