Dana Point, California
Private Residence
New Construction 4,700 SF
Engaged to reimagine an unbuilt seaside developer project into a custom coastal retreat, the home’s layout was refined and tailored to the owner’s specific needs. Within walking distance of the surf in Dana Point, and oriented towards the ocean, a quiet, natural palette layered with luxurious materials and furnishings reflects the owner’s own elevated fashion sense.
Upon entry, a spacious, light-filled gallery sets the tone and serves as the first expression of the client’s growing art collection. Expansive openings dissolve the boundary between in and out, inviting an effortless flow for living, relaxing and entertaining. Bespoke elements like hand-made wall covering and a blown-crystal chandelier, bring the work of artisan and artist alike, to permeate the home. Furnishings were carefully selected or custom-designed with an emphasis on comfort, balanced by a timeless aesthetic resulting in a home that feels livable, elevated and deeply connected to its coastal setting.
